supervisor - tanf services

Description:
This leadership role is in TANF Case Management Program supervising JFS Case Managers at our Atlantic City office. The program combines assessment, crisis intervention and case management. Consumers are connected to either long-term disability or to the workforce, through county-sponsored employment or training services.

This position ensures that the team operates under professional, state, and Agency standards and guidelines.

Key responsibilities include the supervision and training of team members and the provision of ongoing support to subordinates with on call phone consultation required. A Supervisor in this position also carries a caseload of challenging clients, usually at one third of the FTE level.

Qualifications:
Education: Master's degree from an accredited college/university required (social work, psychology, counseling or related field strongly preferred). Licensure appropriate to discipline required. Valid New Jersey automobile license and proof of insurance necessary.

Successful candidate will have the ability to effectively and consistently manage staff and should be well organized, possess excellent clinical, verbal and written communication skills, and be computer literate.

Mental Health Therapist (Per Diem)

icms case manager(s)

BA/BS in Human Services with 1 year related experience required for challenging position providing Integrated Case Management services and/or homeless individuals with psychiatric disabilities in an outreach capacity.

Following DMHS regulations serving individuals leaving state hospitals or short-term care, responsibilities include assisting consumers through the facilitation of referrals and resources.

One day per month of weekend coverage required. Bi-lingual supplement to salary (English-Spanish) offered. Position requires flexibility, commitment and the ability to interact with a broad client and professional constituency.
