Programs in July

Margate, NJ (June 19, 2024) – The Lynn Kramer Village by the Shore at Jewish Family Service offers cool programs during the hot summer season. Here’s your chance to participate in fun, unique and entertaining programs in July.

Thoughts from the Bookshelf

Tuesday, July 2 from 3pm to 4pm

Join Village Community Specialist Tina Serota and Thoughts from the Bookshelf Facilitator Pat Goldstein as we gather for a lively and thoughtful discussion about books and life. This month, the group will discuss the novella, Small Things Like These by Claire Keegan. The story focuses on Bill Furlong, a family man and coal merchant embarking on his busiest season. While delivering an order to the local convent, Bill makes a discovery which forces him to confront his past and the complicit silences of a town controlled by the church. Attend in-person at the Margate Library Meeting Room, 8100 Atlantic Avenue, Margate. RSVP by June 28.

Positivity Project Joins The Mindful Movers

Wednesday, July 3, 10, 17, 24, and 31 from 9am to 10am each day

Start your day in an upbeat way! Join Village Community Specialist Tina Serota as she explores mindfulness, gratitude and meditation followed by a walk with friends and neighbors on the Ventnor boardwalk.
