Downbeach Film Debut Director Discussion: Alliance

Join us for the Downbeach premier of an incredible film, Alliance, about 43 Jewish immigrant families fleeing Russian tyranny in 1882 and settling in the desolate woods of South Jersey. This improbable story follows the settlers who knew nothing about farming and against all odds, claimed land, harnessed its bounty, and built a legacy that would be reborn six generations later. A panel discussion with Film Director Susan Kehnemui Donnelly and Dr. Tom Kinsella,
Professor & Director of the Alliance Heritage Foundation, will follow the screening. Beverages and dessert will be served. Attend in-person at the Katz JCC Boardroom, 501 North Jerome Avenue, Margate.
