Katherine Gorno serves as JFS’s Chief Financial Officer, providing direct oversight and administration of the agency’s finances. She is responsible for payroll, accounts payable, billing and accounts receivable, contracts, grants, audits, investments, and implementing innovative opportunities to ensure sound fiscal performance and solid organizational growth. 

Before joining JFS, Katherine served as the Chief Financial Officer at Community Health Action of Staten Island where she successfully drove innovative financial solutions, managed complex budgeting and forecasting processes, and collaborated with banking and insurance industry professionals. 

Katherine earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Baruch College in New York. Her professional affiliations include the Association of Accountants and Financial Professionals in Business and the Society of Human Resource Management.
