The Tepper Foundation Awards Grant to JFS

The Tepper Foundation pledged its support once again to Jewish Family Service of Atlantic & Cape May Counties (JFS) by awarding a $30,000 grant. The funds will be utilized for the agency’s programs and services.

“With The Tepper Foundation’s generous grant, JFS will continue addressing the escalating needs of people in the community, especially those related to preventing and ending homelessness,” said Andrea Steinberg, JFS Chief Executive Officer. “We are thankful to the foundation for their on-going commitment to JFS where our talented staff collaboratively engage people in problem-solving conversations and direct support to meet basic needs and aspirations for their lives.”

Last year, JFS served more than 15,000 people who needed assistance with food, counseling, supportive housing, vocational services, and more. The agency distributed more than 100,000 pounds of food and basic essentials, provided over 7,500 counseling sessions with children, teenagers, and adults, and helped nearly 200 individuals obtain jobs. Also, The Lynn Kramer Village by the Shore hosted 125 in-person and virtual social events for older adults helping to foster community and reduce isolation.

“JFS’s food, housing and health programs are helping thousands of South Jersey families, and we are glad to support their positive impact in the state,” said Randi Tepper, CEO of The Tepper Foundation.
